Zoning

The Zoning Bylaw oversees and provides regulations for the development of land in the city, such as construction, reconstruction, alteration and use of buildings, structures, and land for residential, commercial, industrial, business and other uses. Zoning and Building Compliance letters provide you with information on whether or not your property conforms to zoning and building standards.

Zoning amendments or rezoning your property requires an application and City Council approval.
