Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre
The Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre is the largest recreational infrastructure project in Prince Albert’s history. It will provide a new home for aquatics and arena programming for residents and visitors alike.
Construction of the $113 million facility began in July 2022 and was completed in February 2025. The project was made possible through funding support from the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, including a $24 million contribution from the Government of Canada, a $19.9 million investment from the Province of Saskatchewan, and $12.09 million through the Canada Community-Building Fund. The City of Prince Albert funded the remainder of the project.
The facility officially opened to the public on Friday, September 5, 2025, marking a historic milestone for the community.
