Public Notice is hereby given that the Council of the City of Prince Albert intends to consider Bylaw No. 16 of 2020 to amend Bylaw No. 1 of 2019, known as the City of Prince Albert Zoning Bylaw.
Reason for the Amendment: At the City Council meeting held on September 21st, 2020, first reading of Bylaw No. 16 of 2020 was given and Administration was authorized to provide Public Notification for a Public Hearing. Bylaw No. 16 of 2020 proposes a number of changes to the current Zoning Bylaw, which is a result of a thorough review by Administration. These changes are minor in nature and include the requirements affecting the number of trees required on a site, secondary suites, signage and how off-site parking is managed. If you would like to review a copy of the bylaw amendment, or want more information on a particular item, please contact the Department of Planning and Development Services.
Therefore, City Council, at its meeting to be held on October 13, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., will consider all submissions both written and verbal respecting the Public Hearing for the above bylaw. If you would like your written submission reviewed by City Council PRIOR to the meeting, it would be preferable if it were provided by 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. In accordance with City Council’s Procedure Bylaw No. 26 of 2014, any written submissions must be provided to the City Clerk. Verbal submissions shall be heard during the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.
