The City of Prince Albert hereby gives notice, pursuant to Section 102 of The Cities Act and the Public Notice Policy Bylaw No. 24 of 2015, of its intention to amend its' Purchasing Policy.
Reason for Change:
1. Cleanup of sections in the Policy for clarification and to remove sections not directly related to the requisition process.
Sections removed:
- Payment;
- Disposal; and
- Central stores functions.
2. Clarified roles and refined processes to reflect the current market, business and work environments that have changed since 2003.
Particulars of the City's Purchasing Policy will be considered at the following City Council meeting:
