Controlled Burn at Development Site South East of Prince Albert

Prince Albert, SK. - The City of Prince Albert would like to advise the public that a controlled burn of clean brush will be taking place at the development site on the south east side of the City, just off highway 3 to Melfort. The burn has been approved by the Prince Albert Fire Department.

Wood on the southernmost part of the site will start today, Wednesday, March 17, 2021 and is expected to take approximately 5 days and will be closely monitored throughout that time with water trucks on-site for the duration of the burn. Wind direction will be continuously monitored throughout and if required will be put out until wind direction are more favourable.

The public should not be alarmed if they see smoke in the area during this timeframe.
