Water Bills |
The spread of COVID-19 resulted in widespread closures of businesses across the nation, including in Prince Albert. The impacts on the livelihoods of local residents prompted the City of Prince Albert to implement relief measures. One of those relief measures was to pause late penalties of water utility accounts until September 30, 2020. The suspension of late penalties for overdue accounts ends September 30, 2020. If you have an overdue account you must either: 1. Contact the Water Department to arrange a payment plan for amounts owing. Under this option, late penalties will apply to amounts overdue as of September 30, 2020; or 2. Make a payment in full for the amount owing to avoid late penalties. Failure to make arrangements for a payment plan, may result in water being turned off at your property. In accordance with our standard collection procedures, water will only be shut-off at properties that do not make contact with the water department or that repeatedly fail to make payments according to their payment plan. |
