The purchaser must be aware of any SaskTel, SaskPower, or City utility easements on the property as no construction can occur in these areas. Typically, such easements are located on the rear 10 feet of a lot in a laneless subdivision but they may also occur along the side. In laneless subdivisions, the City registers an easement over the rear 10 feet of the lot to permit surface storm water drainage throughout the rear of the block which would otherwise be handled by a lane. The purchaser is obligated not to change the elevation of the grade in this area.
