The Cities Act states that the City Clerk shall ensure that the Council
is advised in writing of its legislative responsibilities pursuant to

as pecuniary interest, Code of Conduct, conflict of interest, parliamentary
procedure, Oath of Office and similar topics. Accurate information, particularly
with respect to issues such as these, is absolutely essential for Council
to discharge their duties in a fair and impartial manner.
