Parks
Prince Albert is renowned for its high quality parks containing a wide variety of playground, recreational and sports facilities. The City's parks are unique spaces designed to be enjoyed by all residents as well as by visitors to our community. Our parks system has over 35 parks that total over 1300 acres. Little Red River Park and the Rotary Trail can be enjoyed by all and are easily accessible for all types of users - cyclists, joggers, wheelchair users, seniors and skateboarders.
Recreation
The Recreation division is responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of sports, fitness and cultural activities offered at City of Prince Albert recreation and cultural facilities as well as facility and equipment rentals.
Social Development
The aim of social development is to improve the availability of support systems that address issues which affect the well-being of a community. The Social Development division was created to bring together various organizations within the community that focus on crime, poverty, housing, discrimination, gang activity, school disengagement, teen pregnancy, addictions and substance abuse, obesity and poor health..
