The specifications for the Softball Diamonds are as follows:

Prime Minsters' Park Veterans Field, PMP #2 Sports Council Diamond

Dimensions:	215 feet to left field
	215 feet to right field
	250 feet to center field

 

Prime Minsters' Park #3

Dimensions:	215 feet to left field
	195 feet to right field
	250 feet to center field

 

Fencing

All fencing consists of chain link material with the outfield being six (6) feet in height, sidelines are four (4) feet high and the backstop twenty two (22) feet.  Veterans Field has a twenty four (24) foot high left outfield to centerfield fence.

Infield

The infield is red shale material and contains pop up irrigation heads for easy infield watering between games.  The outfield is turf and also has pop up irrigation heads for easy watering.

Lighting

The lighting on Veterans Field consists of a standard of 30 foot candles on the infield and 20 foot candles on the outfield. Prime Ministers' Park #2 and #3 do not have light fixtures.

Scoreboards

Veterans Field and the PMP #2 Sports Council Diamond are outfitted with an electronic scoreboard located behind the centerfield fencing.  The boards record the following:

• the score
• inning
• balls and strikes
• hits and errors

Bleachers

Veterans Field Softball Diamond is outfitted with a non-portable two-hundred and twenty-eight (228) seat bleacher located immediately behind the backstop area. Additional five (5) and ten (10) tier portable bleachers are located behind the backstops of PMP #2 Sports Council Diamond, PMP #3 and along the right and left field of Veterans Field.

Announcers Booth/Public Address System

Two (2) public address systems can be reserved by your committee and such can be located at the Media/Announcers Booth located at the top of the non-portable bleacher on Veterans Field and the PMP #2 Sports Council Diamond.

Concession and Washroom Facilities

Concession and washroom facilities are available in the Sports Administration Center and the Art Hauser Centre adjacent to these facilities.  Once a Tournament Draw has been completed, please submit the same so Concession hours can be arranged with P.A. Minor Softball and the City of Prince Albert.

Telephone

In the event of an emergency, two (2) pay phones are available on the exterior walls of the Sports Administration Center and two (2) phones in the front lobby of the Art Hauser Centre.  SaskTel could be contacted toll free at 310-4287 to place a mobile unit close to the diamonds.
