The Art Hauser Centre, formerly known as the Communiplex, is an impressive sport, entertainment and banquet show place and stands as one of several examples of the commitment that the residents of Prince Albert have to their community. $6.24 million was raised through community and municipal donations during the "Bring Back the Magic" fundraising campaign in order to upgrade the arena which includes a banquest/lounge facility as well as a new main lobby, offices, concessions and restrooms. This facility transformation offers the community and visitors a state-of-the-art facility for new and exciting events.

The centre's arena is home to the Prince Albert Raiders Hockey Club of the Western Hockey League as well as the Midget Mintos of the Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League. The centre has played host to other sporting events including World Curling - Grand Slam Event, R-U-Tuff-E-Nuff Boxing Card, Canadian Senior Judo Championships, CSA Western Canadian Skating Championships and a variety of youth and adult hockey, ringette, skating and speed-skating events.
