The Kinsmen Water Park officially opened in the summer of 1986 and continues to be one of the major aquatic facilities in Northern Saskatchewan. The Park boasts a swimming pool ranging in depths from 1.5 to 5 feet, a whirlpool, a tot pool, a junior slide, two giant slides over 300 feet in length and a river slide. In addition to the above, there is play equipment for youngsters, a concession and ample leisure space. The park opens daily at 1:00 p.m. during the summer months, weather permitting.

Swimming Lessons
A full range of Red Cross Preschool and Swim Kids swimming lessons are offered at the Kinsmen Water Park during the summer. Registrations begin May 1st for KWP swimming lessons. Click to see detailed descriptions of Red Cross Swim programs or to download a registration form.

Early Morning Swims
Early morning lane swims weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and weekends from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  Noon hour swim Monday to Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Group Bookings
School bookings are extremely popular at the Kinsmen Water Park as are group bookings for sports teams, office parties, family reunions and birthday parties. To book your event, please call Lorri or Nicole at:

Inclement Weather Condition

Every attempt will be made to keep the Kinsmen Water Park open during the designated hours of operation. However, if inclement weather forces closure of the facility, patrons will be issued a pass which will re-admit individuals to the pool again for the remainder of that day only.

Safety Precautions

The Kinsmen Water Park is staffed with trained aquatic personnel so that your day at the park will be safe and enjoyable.

Mandatory Adult Supervision of Children 8 Years and Under

All children under the age of eight MUST be accompanied by an adult in the water at all times.
