Free Parking for Out-of-Town Visitors

"Top Hat Program"

Visitors to the City of Prince Albert can request a "Top Hat" parking pass at the Visitor Centre (see below for contact information and hours of operation) which will provide them with free parking for up to three days in the downtown core.

During the months of July and August, out-of-province visitors receive an extra perk and can park for free at metered parking spots in the downtown area. During this time, a Top Hat parking pass is not required. (Please note that vehicles that remain in one spot for 48 consecutive hours may be ticketed.)

The free parking is a small courtesy that is extended to encourage out-of-town guests to visit the downtown core and the new shops and restaurants that are added each year.
