The Art Hauser Centre is an impressive sport, entertainment and banquet show place. Community and municipal contributions (6.24 million) raised during the "Bring Back the Magic Fund Raising Campaign" have been used to upgrade the arena area, a NEW banquet/lounge facility as well as new main lobby, offices, concessions and washrooms. This facility transformation will offer the community and visitors a state of the art facility, that can attract new and exciting events.
The Centre's Arena is home to the Prince Albert Raiders of the Western Hockey League and Midget Mintos of the Saskatchewan Midget "AAA" Hockey League. The Centre has played host to other sporting events including "World Curling-Grand Slam Event", "Boxing card-R-U-Tuff-E-Nuff", "Judo Canadian Senior Championships", "Skating-CSA Western Canadian Championships" and a variety of Youth/Adult Hockey, Ringette, Skating and Speed Skating Events.
Many Entertainment attractions are held in the arena each year and include Concerts, Circus, Horse Shows, Professional Skating Shows, Graduations, Fund Raising Events, Pro Bull Riding, Trade Shows and Conventions.
The Ches Leach Room and Special Function Room provide users with an intimate environment with a spectacular view of Saskatchewan sunsets. The Ches Leach Room has all the modern technological amenities to assist you in hosting your special wedding or Dine/Dance event. The seating capacity for the Ches Leach Room is 600 patrons, and the room would seat 488 patrons for wedding/dine/dance functions. The Special Function Room has a capacity of 60 patrons and can be booked in conjunction with your event.
