Congratulatory certficates recognize important issues, charitable events, civic-minded individuals or memorable occasions.  Certificates are available to individuals, businesses and organizations on milestone occasions.

Mayor Scarrow offers congratulatory certificates for residents of Prince Albert who are celebrating a significant anniversary (25 years or more), birthday (65 years or older), official opening or athletic championship (winners of provincial, national or international competitions) as well as for outstanding community service or other special occasions.

Requests for congratulatory certificates should be submitted a minimum of four weeks prior to the event.  To request a certificate, please fill out the Congratulatory Certificate form and return it to:

The Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan accepts requests for congratulatory messages from the following dignitaries:

• Her Majest the Queen
• The Governor General of Canada
• The Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan
• The Prime Minister of Canada
• The Premier of Saskatchewan
• The Leader of the Opposition
• Member of the Legislative Assembly for the recipient's constituency
