The Frank J. Dunn Pool offers a full range of swimming lessons for children, youth and adults; lane swimming; public/family swimming and aquacize classes. For summer public swimming and lessons, please visit the Kinsmen Water Park page.
The Frank J. Dunn Swimming Pool, located at Carlton Comprehensive High School (28th Street and 6th Avenue East ) is jointly operated by the City of Prince Albert and the Saskatchewan Rivers School Division #119. The pool is equipped with a five-lane 25 metre pool, ranging in depth from 3.5 to 4.5 feet, and a separate diving tank with one- and three-metre diving boards.
The facility offers the following programs:
- A full range of Red Cross and Lifesaving classes for children and youth
- Adult swimming lessons
- Specialized exercise classes (such as Aquacize)
- Family swim times
- Public swim times
- Adult lane swimming
