|Occupational Health and Safety Policy|
The purpose of this policy is:
- To provide for a safe and healthy workplace that meets or exceeds all legislative requirements. The City of Prince Albert recognizes that its workers are its most valuable asset. Therefore, it is committed to taking the appropriate measures to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
- To complement the efforts of the Employee and Family Assistance Program, Workers' Compensation Board, Disability Income Replacement Plans, Private Physicians and Community Health Professionals in working toward improved worker health and safety.
- To enhance the workplace by minimizing or eliminating hazards which may result in personal injuries or illnesses, service interruption, fires or property damage.
